At our facility, we begin with high-grade 100% cotton yarns, selecting counts and twist levels to optimize softness, drape and durability — cotton being breathable and hypoallergenic, an ideal choice for ribbons that touch skin or appear in visible trims. For instance, cotton twill or herringbone-woven ribbons are increasingly chosen for premium packaging, fashion accessories, home décor and textile labels.
From a production standpoint, the ribbon begins with warp beams of cotton yarns, which are precision-warped with controlled tension so that when the narrow-width weaving takes place, the edges (selvages) remain clean and the body is balanced. After weaving on our narrow‐width looms, we may apply finishing like mercerising (to enhance sheen), calendering (for smooth flat surface) or dyeing to Pantone-matched colours. As a manufacturer we emphasise our ability to customise widths (e.g., 6 mm to 40 mm or more), finish weights (grammage), edge construction (folded edges, laser cut, heat‐sealed) and technical specifications such as tear strength or durability.
In applications, our cotton ribbons are ideal for garment ties, decorative border ribbons, lanyards, premium packaging, craft trims and home furnishings. The natural cotton touch gives a warmer, premium feel compared to synthetic tapes — which is a key selling point for clients seeking “natural look & feel” ribbon solutions
